Elin Schwab

Elin is a registered psychologist who has provided counselling on the Mornington Peninsula for 20 years. Elin uses a variety of therapeutic approaches in her counselling to meet the needs of the individual and the presenting issues including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy, Ego State Therapy, Solution-Focussed Therapy and Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy. Elin also practices hypnosis and EMDR for a wide range of issues. She works with adults, couples and adolescents in many areas of need including trauma, depression, anxiety, phobias, grief and loss, relationships, parenting, self-esteem, sexual abuse, stress and anger management. Her special areas of interest and expertise include treating trauma, anxiety disorders and depression. Elin’s counselling is influenced by her strong belief in the importance of empowering people to be confident in their ability to make choices that lead to positive change. Elin is also experienced in working with TAC, WorkSafe, Victims of Crime and the Department of Veteran Affairs.

- A referral from your G.P.
- Medicare card and mental health care plan to receive the Medicare rebate.
- If applicable, your claim number for WorkCover/DVA/TAC/ComCare.
