Dr Thane Camwell

Thane has a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. He has worked in acute and community psychiatry and in private practice. He has over 6 years experience working with adults who need assistance with a range of problems. Some of these include: Stress, anxiety, depression, mania, psychosis, adult traumas, adjustment to major life changes (e.g., in work, relationships, serious medical issues), grief and loss, identity/personality problems, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, substance abuse, and relationship issues. He is skilled in understanding how these issues arise within work, home, relationships and family environments. He utilises a number of therapies including Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive and Behavioural Therapy, Motivational, Mindfulness, and Schema Therapy. He will work with you to select treatments based on your needs and personal preferences. He believes all people can change and thrive. - Medicare card and mental health care plan to receive the Medicare rebate.
